Terms of Use

Effective date: October 16, 2026 (added the no-tolerance rule and the 24-hour review commitment; previous versions October 8 and September 30, 2026)

PickleSlot is operated by Jerrod Jordan. These terms describe use of pickleslot.com and the PickleSlot iPhone app. Questions: support@pickleslot.com.

What PickleSlot does

PickleSlot displays club events and lets players publish availability and contact information to coordinate games. It is an independent community scheduling tool. It is not the court-booking provider, and it does not confirm reservations, take court-booking payments, or guarantee a playing group, available court, or response from another player.

Book courts and register for events directly with the venue or its official provider. Their rules, prices, cancellation policies, and terms apply to those bookings.

Accounts and age

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Use your own Google, GroupMe, Apple or email sign-in, provide accurate information, and keep access to your account secure. Skill levels are self-reported estimates; PickleSlot does not certify players' ratings or identities beyond the sign-in checks it performs.

Profiles and availability

You decide whether to publish your profile and availability. Keep them reasonably current and share only information you are entitled to share. Published profiles and contact information can be viewed by others. See the Privacy Policy for details.

You retain ownership of your profile content and messages. By providing them, you permit PickleSlot to store and display it as needed to operate the service and follow your visibility settings. That permission ends when the content is removed, except for necessary backup, security, or legal records.

Community rules

Everything you post is visible to other players according to your settings: your name, profile link, bio, photo, availability, contact details and any messages you send. You are responsible for it. Do not post or send anything that:

• harasses, threatens, bullies or discriminates against a person or group, or is hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise abusive;
• impersonates someone, uses someone else's name or photo, or misrepresents who you are;
• is spam, advertising, or a solicitation unrelated to playing pickleball;
• shares another person's private information, such as contact details, without their permission, or collects players' details in bulk;
• is illegal, or infringes someone else's rights;
• is a photo you do not have the right to use, or one that does not show appropriate content for a community profile picture;
• tries to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems, or to evade a block, restriction or removal.

Treat other players with respect. PickleSlot is for adults aged 18 or older. By creating an account or signing in you agree to these terms, including these community rules, and to the Privacy Policy.

Reporting, blocking and enforcement

You can report a player, a profile photo or a message that breaks these rules (in the app, on a player's profile; on the website, from their profile or conversation), and you can block a player so they can no longer message you or invite you to games. Blocking is silent: the other player is not told. A report shares the reported content, including recent messages in the conversation or a copy of the reported photo, with the operator for review; reports and their evidence are kept for 180 days after they are resolved (see the Privacy Policy). You can also email the support address on the support page.

The operator reviews reports and may, at its discretion and with or without notice, remove or edit content such as a name, bio or photo, hide a profile, pause or limit an account, or permanently remove an account that breaks these rules or puts others at risk. PickleSlot has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users: content that breaks these rules is removed and the account responsible is removed. We review reports and act on them within 24 hours. If you think a decision was a mistake, contact support and we will take another look. Serious threats should be reported to local authorities.

Contacting players and playing

You can contact players through the contact methods they publish (such as GroupMe, WhatsApp, phone or email, which open in those services) and, where available, through PickleSlot's in-app messaging. You are responsible for messages you send, agreements you make, and bookings you arrange. Availability indicates when someone may be able to play; it is not a reservation or a commitment.

Pickleball involves physical activity. Choose suitable partners and playing conditions, follow venue rules, and make your own decisions about participation.

Event information and third parties

Event schedules and spots may come from saved snapshots and can change. Check the official venue schedule before relying on availability or making a booking. External services, including Google, Apple, GroupMe, WhatsApp, and booking providers, have their own terms and privacy policies.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep PickleSlot useful and reliable, but features, schedules, and access may change, and interruptions may occur. The service is provided as available; we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or the accuracy of third-party or player-supplied information. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

We may update these terms and show the new effective date here. You can delete your account yourself from your profile on the website or in the app. For help or abuse reports see pickleslot.com/support; for other questions email support@pickleslot.com. The iPhone app is distributed through Apple's App Store; Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its content.
